We’re thrilled to introduce a series of thoughtful vehicle policies designed to create an even more peaceful, relaxing atmosphere for our guests. These changes reflect our commitment to enhancing your experience by reducing noise, traffic, and visual clutter across the property. Here’s a glimpse at what you can expect from these new policies—and how they’ll make your time with us more enjoyable than ever before!

Electric Golf Carts for all Guests

Beginning November 1st, every reservation will come with its own electric golf cart or utility vehicle. This initiative aims to make navigating the property both convenient and environmentally friendly. In addition to the convenience and environmental benefits, this change is driven by a focus on safety and preserving guests’ immersion in nature. By offering these electric vehicles, Black Prong underscores its commitment to sustainability and reducing its carbon footprint, while also ensuring that guests can enjoy a seamless and enjoyable stay.

In addition to providing electric golf carts, vehicular traffic will be limited in the interior parts of the property. Guests will be permitted to drive their vehicles to their accommodation for loading and unloading, but then will be asked to leave their vehicles in their designated parking zones and navigate throughout the property on foot, bikes, horseback, or in a quiet electric golf cart.

New Electric Bikes

Guests can explore Black Prong with ease on our fleet of Bandit X-Trail Pro e-bikes! Designed for comfort and adventure, these e-bikes offer a smooth, eco-friendly way to navigate scenic trails, discover hidden gems, and enjoy the natural beauty around every corner. With adjustable speeds and rugged durability, our e-bikes cater to all skill levels, enhancing your stay with fun, effortless exploration.

Prioritizing Equestrian Traffic

Horses have always had the right of way at Black Prong, and our new policies do not change that! By minimizing vehicle presence, we’re ensuring a safer, more enjoyable experience for riders and walkers alike, allowing everyone to appreciate the beauty of the resort in a serene, horse-friendly environment. Horses are welcome across the 90-acre campus, except for the pavered area near the main pavilion. All roads remain are open to equestrian traffic, and horse-drawn vehicles.
