Black Prong is entering an exciting new chapter in 2026, with a series of thoughtfully planned additions designed to elevate the guest experience, expand recreational offerings, and further enhance the property’s natural beauty.
At the center of these improvements is a new covered and lighted equestrian arena that will provide an exceptional space for riding, training, and viewing. Measuring 110 feet by 230 feet, the arena will feature synthetic fiber footing suitable for all equestrian disciplines, creating a versatile environment for riders and horses alike. Designed for both function and comfort, the arena will allow for year-round use and extended evening riding hours
In addition to the arena itself, Black Prong is adding a large enclosed, climate-controlled indoor viewing area where guests can comfortably watch horses train. The main viewing room will accommodate up to 30 guests, making it ideal not only for spectating but also for children’s parties, private gatherings, and corporate retreats. Two smaller enclosed viewing rooms will provide additional privacy and flexibility, serving as intimate meeting spaces or breakout rooms for retreats and special events.
Beyond the equestrian facilities, Black Prong will also be adding two covered and lighted pickleball courts, creating a new opportunity for recreation and social connection on the property. Whether guests are seasoned players or brand new to the game, the courts will offer an enjoyable amenity that can be used throughout the day and into the evening.
Together, these 2026 improvements reflect Black Prong’s continued commitment to creating a destination where equestrian excellence, recreation, hospitality, and natural beauty come together in one extraordinary setting.
During May – October 2026, while improvements are underway across the property, cabin and cottage reservations will be available for stays of 7 nights or longer. Shorter stays will resume beginning November 1
We look forward to welcoming guests to experience all that is ahead at Black Prong.
