The Bratcher’s Big Day
Clayton and Meghann tied the knot on October 15th, 2022, christening our new outdoor ceremony space with a picturesque wedding for the books!
Getting Ready
Both the bride and groom had their own cottages on-site designated for getting ready before the ceremony. These cozy cottages had ample room for friends and family to hang out and assist with the hair, make-up, first looks and more. Having a space on-site to prepare for the big day saves time and ensures the groom can’t sneak a peek of his bride before the first look!
Ceremony
Walking up to the ceremony guests were greeted with a gorgeous sign, which was a wedding gift, and this unique gift drop area, complete with a cowhide rug that set the stage for this elegant western-inspired wedding. The arbor was beautifully decorated with floral arrangements designed by Trenton Floral that matched the bride’s style, with the backdrop of natural Florida behind it. The bride and groom finished the ceremony with a grand exit via horse and carriage as they departed for a romantic ride through our grounds and to take photos while their guests headed for cocktail hour.
Cocktail Hour
After the ceremony, guests trickled into the enclosed veranda for cocktail hour. Complete with an outdoor fireplace, lounge area, and cocktail tables, our veranda featured not one, but two outdoor bars. Our catering team put together a tasty grazing table and various hors d’oeuvres for guests to enjoy while they mingled.
Our favorite part of this cocktail hour was this polaroid guest book! Guests were able to snap a photo, write well-wishes to the newlyweds and tape it into the guest book. We adored this champagne seating chart, where guests were able to grab their glasses as they head inside to find their table.
Reception
Decked out in live greenery and breathtaking floral arrangements by Trenton Floral, our main pavilion is a stunning mix of rustic elegance with rich, vaulted wood ceilings, iron chandeliers, a full bar and a gorgeous stone fireplace. Our custom wood tables and chairs were set to seat 170 guests, adorned with candles, classic white China, silver flatware and glassware.
We loved the charming table fit for the bride and groom, with a view of the entire pavilion full of friends and family. While the bride and groom cut into their own personal cake, they offered a delicious variety of different flavored cupcakes for their guests!
Dance Party
Remember the ceremony terrace from earlier? From a picture-perfect place to say “I Do” to a dreamy dancefloor at night, our ceremony terrace can do it all! Dancing the night away under the glow of the market lights was the best way to celebrate the newlyweds with loved ones. The raised platform where Clayton and Meghann stood during their vows made the ideal place for the live music set-up, complete with an outdoor bar for guests to re-fuel between songs.
The Honeymoon Suite
Clayton and Meghann finished the night on-site in one of Black Prong Equestrian Village’s cozy cottages, where snacks and champagne were awaiting them. The Bridal Suite seen earlier was flipped during the ceremony into the perfect honeymoon suite, taking away the hassle of travel at the end of a big night.
The Bratcher’s big day was incredibly special with breathtaking details and décor made possible with the help of our events and catering team, Trenton Floral and MasterPiece Weddings. Special shoutout to the photographer, Cat McBain-Fox, from Pink Fox Photography for capturing these photos!
