Parking & Vehicle Policies

Our vehicle policies are designed to create an even more peaceful, relaxing atmosphere for our guests. These changes reflect our commitment to enhancing your experience by reducing noise, traffic, and visual clutter across the property.

All reservations come with an electric golf cart that guests can use to navigate the interior of the Black Prong property! In addition to assigned golf carts, guests are encouraged to walk, use e-bikes, or navigate on horseback or in a horse-drawn cart! Guests will be permitted to drive their cars and trucks to their accommodations to unload but must return them to designated parking areas within the designated timeframe (30 minutes after arrival for short-term guests, 2 hours after arrival for guests staying 30 days or more). Horse trailers may stay onsite for up to 24 hours.

Parking Fees for Non-Compliance:

  • 1st offense: Recieve a warning notice
  • 2nd offense: $50 fee for unauthorized parking
  • 3rd offense: $100 fee for unauthorized parking

Parking Areas for Each Accomodation

  • Guests staying in the north cottages: Fox Squirrel, Loblolly, Magnolia, Sunset, and the Frog Pad RV spaces should leave their vehicles at the north designated parking lot and utilize the North Gate when they need to enter or exit the property once they are checked in at the office.
  • Guests staying at the Big Oak Village have designated parking spaces at each of their accommodations. Big Oak Village guests should enter and exit the property with their vehicles via the Big Oak Gate once they have checked in. This is also the gate for guests with horses in the Big Oak Barns to enter and exit with their vehicles.
  • Guests staying in the central Egret and Royal Palm cottages, Palmetto Point RV Pads or with horses at the Pine Barn should also utilize the Big Oak Gate. Their designated vehicle parking area is just to the south of the Big Oak Village.
  • Guests staying in Eagles Landing or Oasis Cottages, Cypress Knee RV Pad, On the Line RV Pads, luxury two-story Tiny Home Cabins, or Airstreams have designated parking located just south of our solar field, in the South Guest Parking area. Guests are welcome to use their vehicles to bring their belongings to their accommodations but are then asked to bring them back up to the South Guest Parking area during their stay. Electric Golf Carts for these guests are conveniently located at the Activities Barn for you to pick up to return to your accommodation.
  • Horse trailers will be permitted 24 hours of parking on the Property, before being parked in long-term parking at the Black Prong RV & Self Storage location.
