Black Prong Open During Lobby Renovations

Starting mid to late August, the Black Prong lobby is temporarily closed for renovations expected to last no more than two months. When completed, the revitalized lobby and enhanced Black Prong Bar & Grill will reflect the magic and majesty of the Goethe State Forest, evoking the natural beauty and dreamlike wonder of Old Florida.

Throughout the renovation, the Black Prong Bar & Grill will remain OPEN for regular service. Guests can access the restaurant via a temporary entrance located on the south side of the pavilion facing the pool. And of course, we’ll continue to deliver some of the finest Southern Fusion cooking to be found in north central Florida.

Temporary Guest Office Trailer

During this period, guest services will operate from a climate-controlled temporary office located just to the left after you enter the main gate, ensuring guests continue to receive seamless service. Please visit the temporary office for guest check-in, community passes, and to check in for Black Prong Adventures trail riding!
