We started Bar & Grill Night of Giving as a way for us to give back to our community.
The charitable organization we are contributing to this week is the Friends of the Lower Suwannee and Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuges.
Friends of the Lower Suwannee and Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuges is committed to advancing scientific conservation of the Refuges. They support responsible habitat use and facilitate the relationship between the Refuges and the broader community. Current efforts include developing and funding Interpretive Signage at Shell Mound, Atsenie Otie, the Vista Vista Camp. Coming this season are new signage for bike trails and a significant effort to reforest acreage with long-leaf pine trees. You will see the Friends “Rover” at local Festivals and events spreading the word about the Refuges’ role in protecting and enhancing the pristine waters around Cedar Key and the surrounding islands.
We pledge to donate $1,000 and 100% of the evening’s proceeds!
Host a Night of Giving at the Bar & Grill
Local 501c3 organizations are invited to apply to host a fundraising night at the Black Prong Bar & Grill. Night of Giving will take place on select Thursdays. If you are interested in hosting a fundraiser at the Bar & Grill, please fill out the form to apply!
