The Activities Coordinator at Black Prong (BP) should be a high-energy team player, with the desire to learn new skills and grow as the resort grows. The Activities Coordinator is the person customers interact with the most and will need to wear many hats to ensure customers receive a premium level of service during their stay. This is a part time position that reports directly to the Black Prong General Manager.

Job Responsibilities
- Exude a friendly, eager-to-please attitude to exceed our guests’ expectations.
- Make certain guests are having a great experience and that all their needs are being met.
- Ensure facility waivers are signed by all persons entering resort, and guests with horses have current Coggins and vaccination paperwork on file.
- Closely monitor the pavilion and pool areas to ensure rules are being followed and safety is top priority.
- Communicate guests’ arrivals and departures to BP staff daily, including housekeeping schedules and other guest-related communications through Upkeep software and email notifications.
- Book reservations in the property management software and update arrivals/departures, process payments, issue guest and staff keys, horses and give daily deposits to the business manager.
- Ensure guests with special needs receive the personalized services they deserve.
- Answer phones and ensure leads are tracked in the proper software program.
- Serving as the Black Prong Concierge for Black Prong Guests., Booking on site activities, amenities and dining reservations, recommending off-site but local places to dine, shop, and sight-see to enhance guests’ stay.
- This includes sales from conveniences store, reservations for Bar & Grill, Pickleball court and electric bicycle (with or without cart for people with disabilities) and the Ride with GPS app available to Black Prong guests.
- Organize Daily distribution of mail and packages to Guests.
- Manage the sale and enforcement of guest passes to make use of the Black Prong facility.
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in guest relations, a related hospitality role or food service is a plus.
- Must demonstrate care for others and ability to consistently communicate with guests in a professional, compassionate, and friendly manner.
- Comfortable answering phones, working with business email and software.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays and off schedule hours.

Facilities Evening Maintenance Assistant

The Maintenance Assistant is a high-energy and self-motivated individual who plays a critical role in maintaining our resort’s facilities. The position conducts and oversees preventive and corrective maintenance across our 90-acre property, which includes barns, fences and gates, RV pads, cottages, pavilion, pool, restaurant, fitness center and other amenities, as well as our feed store, mini storage, and other annex locations. This position requires general knowledge of the trades, supervisory experience, a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and grow, excellent time management, and the ability to meet deadlines.
This is a full-time position offering benefits, with a work schedule comprising 10 days on (Monday – Wednesday) [hours are 1pm -10pm], followed by 4 days off (Thursday – Sunday). Job Responsibilities
- Facility Maintenance: Document and complete maintenance and repair tickets using a work order management system. Responsible for assisting in maintaining resort accommodations, pool and spa, commercial kitchen equipment, and building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, IT/AV etc.). Ensure timely response to urgent and emergency issues. Diagnose problems and either repair or call a team of trusted vendors for support.
- Equine Maintenance: Support trail riding operations to include maintaining barns, wood fences and gates, electric fences, and assist with overall operations as needed (horse experience desired but not required).
- Equipment Operation/Maintenance: Able to operate various types of farm equipment and vehicles effectively and safely. Knowledge & ability to maintain on all equipment, including but not limited to tractors, golf carts, lawnmowers & attachments.
- Event Support: Assist in event setup and tear down, including transporting, storing, inventorying, and repairing banquet furniture and equipment.
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar position, preferably in a nature resort, equestrian center, or luxury hospitality setting a plus.
- Broad understanding of building trades and facility management systems.
- Trade licenses and certifications are a plus, but not a requirement for an individual with the right experience.
- Certified Commercial Pool Operator or willing to attain certification with 6 months. (Company funded)
- EPA 608 Type II certification or willing to attain certification within 12 months. (Company funded)
